Just to say that I'm by no means a Reddit specialist (I don't even use it as much as I should/could), Mike and I just did a test with it (you'll notice that he sent me to the frontline, I took all the risks there, but he takes them with Google, so I guess it's all fair) and that gave him the idea to write this post.

And not being a specialist is a great thing too, as when you learn more about your topic you can come back and write a second guest post to give more details. :-)  (No, Mike, this is not my plan, or at least not yet, but I really should learn and try to become a Reddit power user)

I used to use Reddit but gave up on it a long time ago.  Unlike SU, I didn't put in the effort on there that I could have and I hate how they limit the posts you can submit (even if it is from various sites).  A bit off topic but just would be interested to learn more about this.  I have had one post get a lot of hits on there but that was many months ago.

Great job guys. Mike, when I am less busy I'd be happy to write a post for you. I have number on the back burner so it may take me a few weeks to get to it.

Oh and congrats Mike.

Does it mean that Matt Cutts doesn't cheat? Good then. :-)

We all pick things up along the way. It is a never ending process of learning when it comes to business online. When I started the biggest trick in the book was to have your keyword typed out 100 times in your header and footer with the color the same as your background. This way only search engines could see it.

Needless to say that trick does not work any longer. Back then there were two types of computers, Apple and IBM clones. (well IBM also but only real rich people could afford those)

Point being I think everyone has something of value to say. The best tips I have picked up are from everyday bloggers, not the so called SEO gurus.

Which reminds me…I just passed Matt Cutts in Google for one of my keywords. No that has nothing to do with anything other than blatant self congratulations and shameless bragging. Cool

Mike, as you and I talked, I would be happy to do a guest post.  However, this is probably not the best topic for me to do as I feel like I have a lot to learn here! Smile

As you probably know, guest posting is a great way to get long term backlinks and some exposure to your blog. If you are interested in guest posting I am looking for people that are not in the SEO business..ie Bloggers, to contribute to one of my new sites.

What I am looking for is everyday tips that you use to bring traffic to your site. A good example is http://linksoftware.org/blog/s…..-marriage/ which was done by fellow TBCer David.

If interested let me know
