You can also get e-mail updates :) I think in a lot of ways FB always had these options but they have been buried and hard to implement. Google+ brings them front and center which makes it easier on everyone. Just like what you do on your Facebook page, except that on FB pages, they're set up in such a way that it seems that everyone is talking to you, but nobody doesn't really talk with anybody else (my feeling). It's not your readers fault (and I include myself here) but the way FB pages are set up. When I comment on one of your updates, I'll be notified when you respond, but not when other readers respond. With G+ it's very easy to either follow everyone's intervention and have a real discussion. Same thing with people who send FB messages to a bunch of people who don't know each other and afterwards we have no other choice but receive every answer whether we like it or not (please, people never send mass e-mails through FB, ever...)
